Our Favorite Fall Flavor Chia Recipes

As the leaves start to change and a crisp chill fills the air (either physically or mentally, depending where you live), there's no denying that autumn is about to arrive in all its glory. It's enchanting season - and that means it's time for fall flavors that warm our hearts and delight our taste buds.

From the comforting aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg to the sweet and earthy notes of pumpkin and apple, fall is the perfect time to savor the rich and delicious tastes that define this time of year. We're thrilled to share some of our favorite fall recipes that incorporate the nutritional goodness of chia seeds. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a novice in the kitchen, these chia-powered recipes are sure to bring the spirit of fall right to your table. Pumpkin Pie Overnight Chia & Oats

Don't sleep on this recipe! Or actually, do sleep...

 

 

Ingredients: ⁠
- ½ tbsp @mammachia organic chia seeds⁠
- ½ cup rolled oats⁠
- ½ cup plant-based milk⁠ or dairy milk⁠
- ¼ cup plant-based yogurt or dairy yogurt (optional)⁠
- ¼ cup pumpkin purée (not pie filling)⁠
- 1 tbsp maple syrup⁠
- 1 tsp vanilla extract⁠
- ½ tsp pumpkin spice⁠
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)⁠
- ⅛ tsp salt⁠

1. Add rolled oats, milk, yogurt (optional), pumpkin purée, maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, cinnamon (optional), and salt to a jar. Mix ingredients together, then seal with a lid.⁠
2. Store oats in the refrigerator overnight (or at least 4 hours).⁠
3. The next morning (or whenever you are ready to eat), remove the lid and stir the oats. If desired, add a splash of milk to thin the consistency.⁠
4. Enjoy the oats directly out of the jar or transfer them to a bowl. Add any toppings of your choosing, like chopped pecans, whipped cream, yogurt, and granola. Enjoy!⁠

 

Vanilla Chia Pudding Pumpkin Spice Bread

Chia Pudding, but make it pumpkin spice (and also bread)...

 

 

Dry ingredients:⁠
- 1 bag Vanilla Bean Chia Pudding Mix⁠
- 2 cups all purpose flour⁠
- 1/2 cup brown sugar⁠
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt⁠
- 1 tsp baking soda⁠
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon⁠
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg⁠
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice⁠
- 1/2 tsp salt⁠

Wet ingredients:⁠
- 5 eggs⁠
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil⁠
- 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk⁠
- 1 15oz can pumpkin purée⁠

Mix all wet ingredients together and set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together and slowly incorporate into wet ingredients. Mix well and place mixture into a non-stick loaf pan that has been lightly sprayed with cooking oil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

 

Cinnamon Maple Chia Oatmeal

Fall Mood: Cinnamon & Maple on Everything...

 

Ingredients:⁠


Oatmeal:⁠
½ cup organic oats⁠
½ cup non-dairy⁠ milk⁠
½ cup water⁠
1 Tbsp @mammachia organic chia seeds⁠

Toppings:⁠
1 organic pear⁠
1 Tbsp almond butter⁠
2 oz candied pecans (toasted works great too)⁠
¼ cup coconut or non-dairy yogurt⁠
1 Tbsp organic maple syrup ⁠
1 Tbsp @mammachia organic chia seeds⁠
Dash of cinnamon

Combine oatmeal, non-dairy milk, water, and chia seeds and cook oatmeal as instructed. ⁠

When done cooking, top with sliced pear, scoop of almond butter, coconut yogurt and candied pecans.⁠

Drizzle with maple syrup, a dash of cinnamon, and a sprinkle of chia seeds.⁠

Serve warm and enjoy!⁠ 

 

Chia Apple Scone

Ready in 5-Minutes!  

 

Scone recipe:⁠
- 1/2 chopped apple⁠
- 1/2 cup oats ⁠
- 1/2 cup almond milk ⁠
- 1 tsp. organic chia seeds⁠
- 1 tbsp. date sugar⁠
- 1 crumbled graham cracker or apple oat biscuit ⁠
- pinch of salt⁠
- pinch of cinnamon⁠

Blend together, add to bowl, and stir in graham cracker crumbles! Then top with cranberries and microwave for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes! Sprinkle with date sugar and enjoy!

 

Pumpkin Spice "No-Oats"

A decadent fall treat (hold the oats)...

 

Ingredients⁠:⁠
- 2 tbsp organic chia seeds⁠
- 2 tbsp hemp⁠
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice⁠
- 1 cup milk of choice⁠
- 2-3 tbsp pumpkin purée⁠
- 2 squares 90% dark chocolate⁠
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice⁠

Method:⁠
1. Prep your No Oats: equal parts chia seeds and hemp hearts plus pumpkin pie spice⁠
2. Mix 1 cup milk of choice with pumpkin puree⁠
3. Pour the milk over the No Oats and mix well⁠
4. Allow to set in the fridge while you melt your dark chocolate ⁠
5. Add pumpkin pie spice to melted chocolate⁠
6. Pour melted dark chocolate on top of chilled and set No Oats⁠
7. Pop in the refrigerator for a few minutes until the chocolate shell hardens⁠
8. Enjoy!
