Bio: I grew up on a farm in a small town in Minnesota. My degree is in Marketing Communications and English. Since graduating, I’ve worked with my boyfriend at his financial services company and done tons of promotional and modeling gigs. The jobs we do in this industry are always different and exciting; favorite gigs have included going on trips (to places WARMER than MN), being in a fitness video and magazine, going on the field at an MLB game, and of course, Mamma Chia! There’s something new to learn and do each day, and that’s the best part!

It is with much joy and delight that we announce our February 2012 Ambassador of the month, Brooke Ziegler! From the beginning, Brooke has exemplified the Mamma Chia magic by sharing her zest for life and showing that hard work really does pay off! Brooke lives her dream by spreading happiness through her beautiful smile. Her dedication and professionalism make her shine, especially when she’s sharing the magic of Chia in the marvelous Midwest! Congratulations to Jess Canterbury!

Favorite Animal: Both of my dogs, Emma (Border Collie) and Gabby (Beagle/Huskey).
Favorite Mamma Chia Flavor: It depends on the day. Usually varies between Blackberry Hibiscus, Raspberry Passion and Cherry Lime. I hear there might be some new flavors coming out, so, I will have to wait to claim a favorite.
Bio: I grew up on an oyster farm in Washington State and have now found myself in Lake Tahoe, CA for the past five years. I love to snowboard in the winter and skate long-boards in the summer. I really love traveling and have recently been to Kauai, hiked the Na Pali Coast and most recently, spent time roaming around Costa Rica. My real passion in life is making jewelry, more specifically earrings. Thanks Mamma Chia! P.S. My Dad is the BEST!

Bio: I believe that my calling is to entertain people, make them laugh, smile and feel good through comedy and music. I am a super serious person, but the longer that you know me the more you get to see and hear all of the funny stuff I have been holding back. My humor is what helps me deal with the fact that I am so serious.

For his dedication, determination, and enthusiasm we are excited to honor Steve Cochran as our December 2011 Ambassador of the Month! Steve is a full-time Mamma Chia brand ambassador who truly embodies the Mamma Chia mission of honoring and uplifting both the soul of humanity and the soul of the planet. Bio: When I grow up I want to be a forester, run through the moss on high heels. I put my soul in what I do. I’m very good with plants. When my friends are away they let me keep the soil moist.

Sarah’s love of Mamma Chia combined with her vast demonstration experience truly makes her the model ambassador! She never ceases to amaze us with her delightful and professional attitude, willingness to take initiative, flexibility and dependability. Sarah’s enthusiasm and energy for life carry over into every customer event and we are proud to have her as part of the Mamma Chia family! Bio: Just a small town girl, born and raised in Texas. My background is in sales but my real passion lies in food/cooking and travel. I’m an avid antiquer, traveling once a month to some of the largest flea markets in the country. Most recently, I relocated to Salt Lake City where I am learning to embrace all 4 seasons. And so, to help pass the frigid winter months, I have taken up snowboarding. I’ll be the one flailing down the mountain…so watch your back.

Kaki started as a Mamma Chia fan! She fell in love with our line of organic chia seed beverages and was deeply inspired by our environmental and social mission. Now it is us who are deeply inspired by her. We are grateful for the love, humor, and integrity she radiates as she shares the Mamma Chia Magic with the beautiful people of Utah. And we are delighted that she reached out to us to join our dynamic team of brand ambassadors!

Bio: I am a recent graduate from San Diego State University and received a degree in Business Marketing. I moved down to San Diego to go to school, but now I am looking forward to starting my career in this beautiful place! I am originally from Northern California but I have Greek heritage. I hope one day to learn how to speak Greek because I know my grandparents would love it if I could speak with them in their native language. I have always wanted to move to Europe for a short period of time but have never had the guts to do it! One thing that people, who aren’t my close friends, don’t know about me is that I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and have even dressed up in Harry Potter attire for the movie premieres!

Bio: Born in Hawaii, I’ve always had a love affair with the sun, ocean and open air. I grew up in Marin, CA & graduated from CSU Chico with a degree in Recording Arts. I’ve been performing on stage & in bands for most of my life, singing is my passion! One of my favorite places on earth is on the Marin Headlands overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.

Since her first day with Mamma Chia, Marquesa has been a shining star! She brings an engaging big smile, a positive attitude, and a wealth of Mamma Chia knowledge to every customer event. Marquesa helps share the magic of Mamma Chia by connecting with people in an authentic way with charisma and enthusiasm. She has a gift for connecting with people which makes her a great Mamma Chia ambassador and a beautiful soul. We’re happy to announce that Marquesa is our first ambassador of the month for August 2011 and is now our Marketing Coordinator for Northern California!
