Strawberry Chiamilk Nice-Cream

January 15th is National Strawberry Ice Cream Day and we thought the best way to celebrate would be with a vegan, gluten-free, and Organic nice-cream recipe using Chiamilk! ????

4 Servings 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of Organic Unsweetened Vanilla Chiamilk
  • 2 – 2 1/2 cups Organic frozen sliced bananas and strawberries
  • 5.3 oz Organic dairy-free yogurt (coconut or almond works best)
  • 5 large sliced or chopped Organic strawberries for the topping
  • Organic sweetener of choice to taste

Directions:

  1. Use a blender or food processor to mix the frozen bananas and strawberries, yogurt and Chiamilk until smooth
  2. Pour into a glass or tin container and top with fresh strawberries
  3. Put into the freezer for 2-3 hours and enjoy!

Creamy Dairy-Free Chiamilk Winter Margarita

Who says margaritas are only for the summer? Switch up your usual holiday cocktail or mocktail and try this amazing Dairy-Free Chiamilk Winter Margarita featuring Mamma Chia Organic Unsweetened Vanilla Chiamilk! ????❄️
Makes 6 Servings
Ingredients:
  • 14 oz Mamma Chia Organic Unsweetened Vanilla Chiamilk
  • 12 oz Silver Tequila *(optional)
  • 8 oz Triple Sec *(optional)
  • 1/2 cup organic lime Juice
  • 1/2 cup organic white cranberry juice *(optional)
  • 4 cups crushed ice
  • Garnishes: Organic lime wedge for rimming glass, organic cinnamon sugar or sanding sugar for rimming glass, lime slices and organic cranberries to top!
Directions:
  • Rim glasses with organic cinnamon sugar or sanding sugar: begin by wiping a lime wedge around the edge of the glasses to wet the rim, then roll the rim of each glass in a shallow dish of organic cinnamon sugar or sanding sugar.
  • Combine Organic Unsweetened Vanilla Chiamilk, silver tequila, triple sec, lime juice and optional white cranberry juice in a mixer, shake, and pour into a sugar-rimmed glass with crushed ice.
  • Option to blend or serve on the rocks, whatever your preference!
  • Garnish with organic lime wedges and organic cranberries.
  • Sip and enjoy, hopefully near a warm fireplace!
  • For the mocktail option, simply remove the tequila and triple sec from the ingredients!

Dairy-Free Strawberry & Chiamilk Panna Cotta!

For our upcoming Chiamilk Cookbook, our friend Amy Tong (@AmyTong_) shared her delicious take on one of Italy’s most popular and classic dessert dishes. Using Mamma Chia Organic Unsweetened Original Chiamilk and fresh organic strawberries, she created an absolutely salacious (and dairy-free) Strawberry & Chiamilk Panna Cotta!

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon unflavored vegatarian gelatin
2 1/4 cup Mamma Chia Organic Unsweetened Chiamilk, divided
1 pound fresh organic strawberries
6 tablespoons sugar (you can substitute with sugar-free sweetener)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions:

In a heat proof bowl, dissolve gelatin and 1/4 cup Chiamilk, set aside and let it rest for 5 minutes. Heat the gelatin mixture in the microwave for 30 seconds until gelatin is completely dissolved.  Let cool slightly.
In the blender, process strawberries, remaining 2 cup of Chiamilk, sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and cooled gelatin mixture, until smooth. Pour mixture through a fine sieve into a large bowl, discard any solids/seeds.
Evenly distributed into molds or small serving cups.  Chill for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight.
To unmold, dip bottom of the mold in a small bowl of hot water for 5 to 10 seconds, then invert panna cotta onto a dessert plate and remove the mold. Serve with macerated strawberries on top.
If using small dessert cups, simply spoon macerated strawberries on top before serving.
Ingredients for the Macerated Strawberry:

1/2 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
1 tablespoon of sugar (or sugar-free sweetener)

Directions to prepare the Macerated Strawberry:

In a medium bowl, gently toss strawberry slices with lemon juice and sugar.  Let the mixture steep in room temperature for 15 minutes before serving on top of the panna cotta.

Berry Cream Popsicles with Chiamilk!

Cool off this summer with this DIY Berry Cream Popsicle recipe featuring Mamma Chia Organic Chiamilk by the incredible Rachel Mistry, MS, RDN! ☀️  We’re obsessed with these delicious, healthy treats that ae great for you and your little ones – not to mention they are vegan and packed with Omega-3 from chia!

Grab a blender and combine:

1 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup coconut (or choice of) yogurt
1.5 cups Mamma Chia Organic Vanilla Chiamilk
1 Tbsp sweeter of choice (ex: maple syrup or honey)

Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold and freeze for 4+ hours and enjoy!
